- Ensure all academic percentage calculations are accurate.
- Check eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
Step 2 · Elimination Round
For SE roles, a 100-minute test covering Reasoning, Technical/Pseudocode, Verbal, and Puzzle Solving. For SP/DSE roles, a 3-hour test heavily focused on competitive programming.
- Brush up on basic pseudocode concepts for the SE role.
- For SP/DSE, focus on graph algorithms, DP, and trees.
Step 3
Questions round focusing on CS fundamentals (OOP, DBMS, OS, Networking). SP/DSE roles will face deeper technical questions, system design basics, and live coding.
- Be ready to explain every project listed on your resume.
- Practice explaining your thought process while coding.

Exam Pattern
The Infosys online assessment varies by role. The standard Systems Engineer (SE) test evaluates aptitude, logic, and basic technical knowledge. The SP/DSE tests are programming-heavy and require advanced problem-solving skills.
- There is sectional timing for each part of the test.
- Calculators are typically not allowed.
- SP and DSE roles require taking a separate 3-hour coding test with 3 complex programming problems.
- The SP and DSE rounds are entirely coding-based (3 questions, 180 minutes).
- Pseudocode section tests logic independent of programming languages like C, C++, or Java.

Student Interview Experiences
Real insights from students who cleared the Infosys hiring process.
For the .NET Developer role, the technical round was straightforward focusing on OOPs. Managerial round on the same day tested my team fit and soft skills. Make sure your employment records are clear for their background check.
The Systems Engineer (SE) test evaluates aptitude and pseudocode. My technical interview was mostly CS fundamentals like DBMS and Networking. Transform the interview into a healthy discussion and make a good first impression.
