Eligibility Criteria
Ensure you meet all requirements before applying to Wipro.
Full-time B.E./B.Tech or 5-year integrated M.E./M.Tech. BCA/B.Sc. considered for WILP.
Open primarily for the passing out batches of 2024 and 2025.
Minimum 60% in 10th and 12th, and 60% or 6.0 CGPA in Graduation.
Usually exactly 1 active backlog is permitted at the assessment stage, cleared before joining.
Candidates who appeared for a Wipro interview in the last 3-6 months are ineligible.
Maximum 3 years gap allowed between 10th and graduation. No gaps during graduation.
Indian citizens or PIO/OCI card holders. Bhutan/Nepal citizens must submit certificates.
Only full-time degree courses are accepted. Distance education allowed only for 10th/12th.
Salary Package
Annual CTC by role tier. Opportunities are available across roles such as Project Engineer (Elite), Project Engineer (Turbo).
Selection Process
Your journey from application to offer letter — step by step.
Step 1
Register under the Elite or Turbo program on the Wipro careers portal. Only B.E./B.Tech (and sometimes M.E./M.Tech) are eligible. Max 1 active backlog allowed.
- A maximum of 3 years of education gap is allowed before graduation.
- Ensure you meet the 60% / 6.0 CGPA criteria across all academics.
Step 2 · Elimination Round
A 128-minute assessment covering Aptitude (Logic, Quant, Verbal) for 48 mins, a Written Communication Test (Essay) for 20 mins, and an Online Programming Test (2 questions) for 60 mins.
- Manage time well in the Aptitude section (48 mins total).
- Practice typing and essay structure for the Written Communication.
Step 3
Candidates clearing the Turbo assessment face a Voice Assessment round, followed by a Business/Technical discussion evaluating core CS concepts and project knowledge.
- Ensure a quiet environment for the Voice Assessment.
- Be prepared to discuss your final year project in detail.
Step 4
For Elite candidates, technical skills and HR fitment are evaluated. Covers basics of OOP, preferred coding language, and behavioral questions.
- Brush up on basic sorting/searching algorithms.
- Highlight adaptability and willingness to learn.
Exam Pattern
The Wipro online assessment is heavily structured with specific time limits for each section. It is a combined test of 128 minutes with cut-offs applied at the section level.
- Negative marking may apply for excessive errors in the essay.
- The cut-off for the entire assessment is generally around 70-75% for the Turbo program.
- A maximum of 1 active backlog is allowed at the time of the test.
- Turbo candidates who pass the written test will undergo an automated Voice Assessment.
- The essay evaluates vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and articulation.
